Hope Club

Once you raise a minimum of $100, you join our Hope Club, a group of dedicated participants who have achieved this fundraising goal, and you will receive our special Hope Club shirt to wear proudly at your event.


After earning Hope Club status, you will receive an email allowing you to redeem your Hope Club shirt. If you participate in a GoldTogether team, you can choose a GoldTogether Hope Club shirt instead of the traditional shirt.


New in 2024, cancer survivors will be given the option to provide their size for their purple survivor t-shirt during the online registration process for their Relay For Life event. Shirts will ship weekly to the address provided during registration. There is no fundraising requirement for survivor shirts.

The Survivor t-shirt question was added to registration on 11/6/2023. For those that registered prior to the functionality being available, a redemption email was sent to provide shipping address and shirt size.

Event Leadership

Returning in 2024, ACS staff partners will order ELT shirts for all event leadership team volunteers. There is no centralized redemption process for ELT shirts in 2024. Although we encourage all ELT members to be part of the Hope Club, there is no fundraising requirement for ELT shirts.

How often will t-shirts ship?

Starting on or around January 8, 2024, shirts will ship 1-2 times per week.


T-shirts can take up to 3 weeks to arrive depending on the timing of their redemption and when the vendor has a weekly scheduled shipment to go out.  Shipments can be sent to a PO Box. Tracking information is unavailable from the vendor.

Yes. Participants will have an opportunity to claim all three t-shirts when they qualify for each.

Online and offline confirmed income will be included.

No, for any registered for multiple events, they will receive one redemption email and t-shirt. Survivors who register for more than one event will only receive one survivor shirt.

  • Hope Club: Please contact your event’s staff partner.
  • Survivor: Call 800.227.2345 to get registered as a survivor. T-shirt size will be asked and a shirt will automatically be shipped within 3 weeks.
  • ELT: All ELT shirts are ordered by staff in 2024, so no email is required.

Emails will be sent daily to those who have reached $100 or more in RFL fundraising. The emails go out between 1:30-6pm Eastern Time with the subject line “You’ve earned a Hope Club t-shirt – redeem it today!“.

In general, extra t-shirts will not be available at an event. It is important to register before the event to ensure you have a shirt available. Registration is available at or by calling 800.227.2345.

The American Cancer Society continues to remain focused on being the best steward of donor dollars. Because of this, we are no longer offering the Team Captain t-shirt. Each event is encouraged to find new and creative ways to continue to recognize team captains.

We will continue to offer Relay/ACS Rewards at; however, Hope Club, Survivor, & ELT t-shirt redemption will not occur through the Relay Rewards website.
