Obviously, this event must be in a cold location or occur during a cold weather month.
You’ll definitely need to have someone on site for safety emergencies just in case!
You could also consider selling warm treats like hot chocolate or coffee for participants once they’re out of the water.

This is a chillingly good fundraiser for colder locales! Have donations based on whether or not your participants are brave enough to jump into the water, or charge a small entry fee that goes to support your organization.
