Sweet Treat Scroll / Musical Chairs

Overall Cost: $
Complexity: 2

Gather donations, or bake your own treats and host a few rounds of musical chairs. The winner goes home with a sweet treat, and you come away with donations for a great cause! Each participant donates an entrance fee in order to play the game.

  1. Create a numbered path: You can create a path on the ground using chalk or masking tape or use a large board and number each space.
  2. Pick a number for each round for the winning treat. The person who stops on that number gets to take home the prize!
  3. Play lively music: Playing lively music will create a festive atmosphere and encourage participants to join in the fun.
  4. Stop the music randomly to find out the winner

Things to Consider

  • Set the number of rounds that you will do in advance so that you can make sure you have enough prizes for the winners.
  • The prizes don’t have to be sweet treats. It can be anything you think the audience could use.
  • Promote your game through social media, flyers and word of mouth to attract as many participants as possible.
  • Don’t forget to ask local businesses to donate prizes or sponsor the event.
