Armchair Olympics

Overall Cost: $$
Complexity: 4

Sign up teams of four to compete in a series of off- the-wall “Olympic” events of your design. Teams pay to enter and spectators come to cheer them on (and purchase food and drink!). Tricycle races, inflatable raft paddle, hamster wheel run, sponge toss, frisbee throwing, and more can all be part of a fun, messy afternoon.

Things to Consider

  • Consider creating original and fun events for participants while keeping in mind different skill/ability levels.
  • Make sure the space is large enough to host the event. For outdoors, try finding a larger field or parking lot. Indoors, see if you can rent a gym or large event space.
