Apply to be a Project Lead for the 2026-2027 National Campus Leadership Team

The American Cancer Society National Campus Leadership Team is a team of student volunteers who work in partnership with the American Cancer Society (ACS) to provide nationwide strategy and direction to the American Cancer Society market, including elementary school, middle school, high school, and college campuses.

The National Campus Leadership Team strives to:

  1. Drive growth, innovation, and maintain excellence in fundraising, participation, and unity of the American Cancer Society’s youth & college market
  2. Develop well-rounded, committed volunteers who understand their value and engage in not only fundraising, as well as advocacy, cancer education, and patient support with their campus leadership teams
  3. Empower to be lifelong volunteers with the American Cancer Society
  4. Provide strategic direction for the American Cancer Society campus movement and supervise workgroups to act as the voice for the campus market in all national American Cancer Society discussions and decisions
  5. Acknowledge achievements big and small across the nation to drive a culture of unity and celebration

The National Campus Leadership Team will be selecting Project Leads for the 2026-2027 term that will serve  in a virtual role. These Project Lead roles are a great opportunity for campus volunteers to be a part of the influence and advancement of our goals in the fight against cancer. Project Leads will work directly with NCLT Leads to support and advance the NCLT’s initiatives, while taking the opportunity to learn more about the American Cancer Society’s national mission and organization. Project Leads are the first step towards a national volunteer leadership role within the American Cancer Society and is a strong option for anyone with local leadership experience who is looking to get involved nationally.

If you have questions or would like to talk with a current member of the National Campus Leadership Team about the team or the available roles, please email the Volunteer Team Lead Julie Willis at [email protected]. If you are an ACS staff member and have a question, please contact Dillon Spencer at [email protected].
