Elementary School Program

The American Cancer Society Schools vs. Cancer program brings education and community service to an elementary classroom in a fun and exciting way that also allows students to help save lives from cancer. Through Schools vs. Cancer program, students will learn about cancer, steps they can take to reduce their risk of developing the disease, and tips to stay healthy. Educational materials and resources will be provided that align with your school’s existing curricula while also introducing the topic of cancer in a youth friendly way.

Schools participating in Schools vs. Cancers fundraise for the American Cancer Society primarily through Relay For Life & Making Strides Against Breast Cancer events.

Schools vs. Cancer Leadership Message

Hi!

As the Fundraising Innovations Chair this year on the National Campus & Youth Engagement Team, I am excited to help grow our Schools vs. Cancer program for Elementary and Middle Schools across the nation. This is a great opportunity to raise more money with our Relay For Life and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer programs and to create some fun in our schools. Check out the program information and email me with any questions.
