If you live in a bottle return state (a state where you can turn in bottles and cans for a small monetary refund) this is the fundraiser for you. Advertise a can and bottle collection to your friends and family and set up a time where you can go and pick up the donations. Turn in the cans and bottle for cash and use that cash as a donation in the fight against cancer!

Things to Consider

States that have bottle return laws include California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Iowa, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, Oregon, and Vermont.

Consider reaching out to local businesses to get them involved. Set up pick up times for any cans/bottles they may want to donate.

Advertise your fundraiser via social media or directly reach out to friends and family in your area who may be willing to participate.
