The American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer movement is a celebration of courage, hope, and community — uniting people across the country to end breast cancer as we know it, for everyone. The Spirit of Strides Awards recognize individuals, teams, and partners who exemplify the passion, leadership, and commitment that make the movement possible in support of survivors, metastatic breast cancer thrivers, caregivers, and families.
Except for the staff award, nominations may be submitted by volunteers or staff partners. Nominees are first reviewed at the regional level, with regional winners advancing to a volunteer panel for national selection.
This year there will be one nationwide winner for each of the following categories:
- Event of the Year
- Team of the Year
- Strider of the Year
- Corporate Impact of the Year
- ACS Staff Partner of the Year
