Welcome to the North Region Community Fundraising Leadership Team Page!!

We are all here to support you and guide your strategy for all things community fundraising in the American Cancer Society North Region. This means we cover Relay For Life (RFL), Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (MSABC), Endurance events, and more. We also have volunteers on the Team that focus specifically on mission, training, and recognition.

 Let’s meet some of the team:

• Region Tri-Leads — Roxie Smith (Oregon), Lisa Wilfong (Missouri), and Shelle Arnold (Kansas), all have an extensive and successful volunteer history with ACS.  

• Relay For Life Lead — Becky VanLoon (Iowa).  Becky brings with her 20+ years of RFL and ACS volunteer leadership experience and an enthusiasm we hope is contagious.

• Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Lead — Jill Lezotte-Kates (Michigan). Jill has more than 5 years of experience in MSABC and RFL. She is passionate in the fight against cancer and is an amazing pink fighter!

As part of our model we also have a group of amazing volunteers in the role of the Hope League. The goal of the Hope League is to Encourage. Assist. Inspire. The Hope League volunteers will forward information, be an ear to bounce ideas off of, be a liaison when needed, and generally support event leads and other volunteers.     

We are here to help you, to support you, and to cheer you on, in whatever way you may need. We look forward to helping and supporting you however we can.
