Turning Awareness Into Action: Together, We Raised $1,004,914!
On October 1st, we proved that breast cancer awareness is about more than wearing pink. Together, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer participants and Men Wear Pink Ambassadors turned awareness into action by raising $1,004,914 to help end breast cancer as we know it, for everyone.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month marked its 41st year, a reminder of how far we’ve come in the fight against breast cancer and how much work remains. To honor that milestone, we challenged supporters to take action by donating or raising $41.
You answered that call in a tremendous way.
Supporters across the country stepped up, joined the movement, invited family and friends to get involved, and made donations both large and small. Every contribution helped move us closer to a future without breast cancer.
Every dollar raised will help people facing breast cancer through lifesaving research, personalized guidance, free lodging and transportation to treatment, and a supportive community that no one has to face cancer alone.
Thank you to everyone who joined the movement, raised funds, made a donation, or encouraged others to participate. Together, we transformed awareness into impact and raised $1,004,914.
Together, we turned 41 years of awareness into action to help end breast cancer.
