The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Power of Hope Award, in its second year, is meant to recognize community events that support and honor cancer survivors in their community.

Nominations can be submitted by the Region leadership volunteers and Society staff. Events will be notified if they are nominated. Regions can designate one winner for the region award.  The six regional winners will be submitted to choose the National Power of Hope Award winner. The National Power of Hope Award will be presented through the National Leadership Team (volunteers).

The deadline to submit nomination-based award entries is November 11, 2022. Upon completion, please email your nomination to CommunityFundraisingAwards@cancer.org.  Nominations should be converted to PDFs before submitting using the naming convention RegionName_Award_Nominee (ie:NER_Powerofhope_MSABCHopeville). Any supporting documents or photos should be included with the nomination form.
